The New Roman Missal: New Words: A Deeper Meaning, but the Same Mass. Full implementation of the Roman Missal, Third Edition began around the United States and most of the English-speaking Catholic world on the First Sunday of Advent, 2011. While the preparation phase of the Missal has passed, the work of preparing hearts and minds to enter more deeply into the mystery of faith continues. Click here for more.
Respect Life. The Respect Life Group of St. Peter Church is embarking on a series of monthly talks beginning in October, 2011 through April, 2012. These talks will focus on the Beginning of Life, Chastity, Theology of the Body, Natural Family Planning, Infertility, and End-of-Life issues – a lifetime of moral issues that our parishioners are facing. Church Priorities. The Cardinal has established, as super priorities for the Archdiocese, Worship and Devotion of Holy Mass, the Sacrament of Penance / Reconciliation, and Priestly Vocations. The major priorities for the church as a whole and for St. Peter Parish in particular as identified by the United Catholic Conference of Bishops are:
1) Strengthening Families
2) Faith formation focused on sacramental practice
3) Priestly and religious vocations
4) Life and dignity of the human person
5) Recognition of cultural diversity

Saint Peter Youth Ministry: The Teen Light ministry is a youth ministry for all teens 13-18. The group meets twice a month and provides an opportunity for youth to participate in peer to peer fellowship, community service and monthly activities and events designed to grow, share and build our faith in Jesus Christ. Planning meetings take place on Wednesday nights 6:45 - 8:15 PM in rooms C/D in the Church.
