Troop 56 BSA is a member of the Chester County Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

On Saturday, November 26, 2009, Troop 56 held an Eagle Scout Court of Honor at St Peter. James G. Thomson was the Eagle Scout being honored. Shown below is a photo of the Scouts in attendance.

Our troop participates in a variety of activities year-round, including skiing in the winter months and attending Camp Horseshoe summer camp in July.

This is the group of scouts and adult leaders from St Peter Troop 56 who attended Boy Scout Camp at the Horseshoe Scout Reservation July 12-19, 2009. This week long camp is part of the Troops year round scouting program for boys 11-18. The boys participated in age appropriate programs ranging from climbing and swimming to kayaking and from basic outdoor skills to wilderness survial.

We are planning a return trip to Florida Sea Base where the scouts will spend a week sailing and snorkeling in the Florida Keys.

All boy scouts are welcome to come to our troop meetings and to become a member of Troop 56.
