Extraordinary Ministers

"From the Eucharist comes strength to live the Christian life and zeal to share that life with others." - Pope John Paul II

The Purpose of Our Ministry is to:

• Assist Our Priests in Distribution of the Eucharist at Mass

• Assist Our Priests in Distribution of the Eucharist at Retirement and Nursing Homes

• Distribute the Eucharist to the Sick and Homebound

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older *

• Must have received all Sacraments of Initiation *

• If married, marriage must be a valid marriage *

• Must meet approval of the pastor

• Dependable

Required Training:

• Parish level
  Archdiocesan level, when made available*

* Requirements of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia

Meetings are held at least twice a year for our Eucharistic Ministers.

Ministry Schedule Sign-ups will take place in the Ministry Room. These sign-ups are usually done 4 times a year.

The parish will periodically announce ministry opportunities and training sessions. Any parishioner interested in joining this ministry should contact:
