Lectors

“Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock.” (Matthew 7:24).

The Purpose of Our Ministry is:

• With the exception of the Gospel, to proclaim the Readings from Sacred Scripture

• Announce the intentions for the Prayer of the Faithful

• Proclaim the Psalm between readings in the absence of a psalmist

Qualifications:

• Must have received all Sacraments of Initiation

• If married, marriage must be a valid marriage

• Dependable
  

Required Training:

Parish level only

Meetings are held at least twice a year for our Lectors.

Ministry Schedule Sign-ups will take place in the Ministry Room. These sign-ups are usually done 4 times a year.

The parish will periodically announce ministry opportunities and training sessions. Any parishioner interested in joining this ministry should contact:
