Ushers and Greeters

The greeters and ushers of St. Peter Parish foster a spirit of fellowship as they extend friendly smiles and warm greetings to our parishioners and guests. Our ministers of hospitality are graced with the opportunity to extend Christ's love and welcome all to our liturgies.

Currently, each team of greeters and ushers volunteers to serve at one of four weekend liturgies, generally one month on and one month off. Some of their responsibilities include:

• Assisting the congregation with seating and helping the disabled

• Answering general questions

• Assisting with the Sunday collection

• Directing the procession of the offertory gifts

• Guiding the communion procession

• Rendering assistance in emergencies

• Distributing the Sunday church bulletin after Mass

• Housekeeping after each Mass
